Where the Parc Floral is, and how to get there
The Parc Floral de Paris covers roughly 35 hectares in the Bois de Vincennes, at Route de la Pyramide, 75012 Paris. It is one of the City of Paris botanical gardens, known for its iris and dahlia collections and its valley of flowers.
The most direct way in is Line 1 to its Château de Vincennes terminus. From there, take Exit 3 "Cours des Maréchaux - Parc Floral": the park entrance is about a 5 to 10 minute walk. From Vincennes, that is a single metro stop and a short stroll.
The park opens every day. In high season (roughly April to September) it opens at 9:30 and closes in the evening, up to 8 pm in summer. Entry is charged from 1 April to 30 September, at 2.80 € full price and 1.60 € reduced, and free the rest of the year. When to come: the summer festivals, and how far ahead to book
Summer is the real reason to time a stay around the Parc Floral, because of its festivals. Each year the park hosts three open-air music events: the Paris Jazz Festival, Classique au Vert, and Les Pestacles for young audiences. In 2026 the Paris Jazz Festival lists 9 free concerts from 28 June to 6 September (only park entry is charged).
The concerts are free and open-air, often on weekend late afternoons. Les Pestacles is aimed at families with young children, usually on Wednesdays. For these dates, book early: festival weekends push up hotel demand on the east side, and the best rooms go first.
One practical note on lead time. If you are aiming for a specific Paris Jazz Festival concert, or a trade show at the nearby congress centre, hold your room 4 to 6 weeks ahead, especially for summer Saturday nights. Always confirm the programme and dates on the Festivals du Parc Floral site before booking, since the line-up can still change.
